Happy Superhero Halloween

I was so happy this year when the kiddos still let me "help" they pick out their costumes. I really like having a theme to their Halloween costumes. (I'm thinking this is my last year for steering them in a direcion/helping them pick out costumes) Anyway, I wanted them all to be superheros and one day I was asking them what they wanted to be for halloween... I brought up Superhero idea & they ran with it!! So, they did all pick out their costumes, just with a nudge from mom :)

Austen was Superman

Caitlen was Wonder Woman Brooklen was Supergirl

Me & DJ had a Halloween party to go to & we went as Batman & Batgirl :)

Bloomsbury Farms
It's Friday, no preschool & Grandpa Jim is in town- what should we do to entertain us today?
Let's go spend the day at Bloomsbury Farms! It was a perfect day- it was warm, a little breezy, but warm, Bloomsbury wasn't busy at all-- huge plus!! and they were having a special $2 off today so it was only $5 a person to get it, that's a bargain! (it's $9 on wknds & $7 on wkdays) It was a great day & the kids ran & played all over!
When we got there we stopped by the cute little gift shop & tried some super yummy fudge.... had to get some of that to take home!
Then we stopped by a couple wooden cutouts- How Tall This Fall? (C is the tallest, it's hard to get them all to stand still for a pic)

Then on to a hayrack ride and running thru the kids corn maze. Then stopped a bit for some lunch.
The big slide was a huge hit. The kids really get going fast!
We also stopped to pet & feed some of the animals, jumping on the big pillow and swinging on the big tire swings.
The kids favorite part was the duck racing trough. They were all pretty wet by the time we left, but they loved pumping the water to make the ducks go to the other side.
It was a really fun day & everyone is pretty tired....everyone should sleep good tonight, including G'pa!
