Getting ready for vacation!!
Oh goodness it is hard to plan, pack & get ready for a vacation, but we are tryin to get ready. We are getting ready for our first family vacation!!! I'm so ready, but not "ready"!! Still doing laundry, trying to lay out all the stuff we need to take, checking my lists (sounds like Santa!) Trying to pack some new toys for the kiddos to play with in the car to help keep them occupied!! We are hoping to leave tomorrow afternoon, after DJ gets home from work & we get the van loaded.
I might try to do some posts while we are gone.... I know that is wishful thinkin, but I'll try ;)
Anyone have helpful hints for kiddos on a long car ride, please pass along!!

Good luck and hope ya have lots of fun. As for new things in the car-you probably have it-new toys, new movies, maybe any old toys they haven't seen in a while. YOu are going quite a ways. Good luck! Hope you all enjoy your 1st family vacation-don't get too stressed out. Try and relax and have fun. See ya when ya get back!
Darn, I could have given you some muscle relaxors for the kids. That would have gotten you some quiet time :) Have a great vacation. Can't wait to hear about it when you get back.

It is hard planning and getting ready for a vacation....
The only thing worse might be getting home and unloading all of it - and it's dirty.
